A Notary Public is a publicly commissioned individual who is appointed by the state to serve as an impartial witness while performing a variety of official fraud deterrent acts during the signing of important documents.
A Notary will require a current ID with a photo, a physical description and a signature. Most commonly, a driver’s license or a passport will suffice but there are other forms of acceptable IDs such as US military IDs and state, county, or local IDs.
A Notary cannot choose what type of notarization is needed for the signer. It is considered an unauthorized practice of law.
A Notary is not an attorney and does not offer legal advice or accept fees for legal advice. Florida commissioned Notaries are prohibited by law from giving legal advice.
The cost of a notarization will depend on what document needs to be notarized, if witness are needed, and how many stamps/certificates are needed. Due to the required traveling as a mobile notary service, travel fees will vary based on your location. Please inquire to get a personalized quote.
